I’m a Content Manager for a nonprofit and a marketing and communications freelancer who currently resides part-time in Jamaica, by way of Atlanta, Georgia. With over 10 years of experience in marketing and communications—specifically in digital communications, social media, and branding—I specialize in helping organizations enhance their reach, engagement, and overall impact.
In 2018, I moved to Jamaica and launched an art business. To supplement my income, I leveraged my academic and professional background in Mass Communications to take on remote freelance projects, including resume writing, basic web development, editing and proofreading, and social media management.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, my art business came to an abrupt halt, forcing me to find new ways to generate income. I fully embraced freelancing—and quickly discovered that I excelled at it! That’s when I created Connecting the Dots to provide affordable branding services.
Professional Background
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications (Public Relations) and a Master of Public Administration (Nonprofit Administration). Before relocating to Jamaica, I worked as a Public Affairs Coordinator in the U.S., overseeing public relations and media outreach.

In 2022, I stepped into an exciting role as a Content Manager in Marketing & Communications for a U.S.-based nonprofit supporting young adults diagnosed with breast cancer—a position I continue to hold alongside my freelance work with Connecting the Dots.
